Applications:	A hydrochloride salt of Tapentadol, which is an opioid analgesic of the benzenoid class. It is used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Also controls pain of diabetic neuropathy . An agonist of the μ-opioid receptor and a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (NRI)
