- A haemostatic agent, Ethamsylate is used in the treatment of capillary bleeding. It promotes angioprotective and proaggregant action. Ethamsylate stops haemorrhage from small blood vessels by stabilising the capillary wall and correcting abnormal platelet adhesion.
