Homosalate and its Impurities

Homosalate is an ester formed from salicylic acid and 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanol, a derivative of cyclohexanol. It is used in some sunscreens. Reference standards of Homosalate API, and its pharmacopeial, non pharmacopeial impurities, and stable isotopes are listed below.
